My heater went out on a Saturday on one of the coldest days of the year. I called Angel on Sunday and he actually came out that afternoon and inspected the heater and installed a new thermostat. He then came back on Monday with new parts and fixed the heater at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with his work ethic and his communication skills. I am so very grateful to have heat again and recommend him highly.

Angel was a total life saver! Our Nest thermostat went out at some point over summer and then my brother tried to change it when we finally were already in winter and could not seem to get it to work. After 2 days of frustration and a house that was as cold as an ice box (Oakland was under 30 degrees at night) we finally gave in and called around for help. After going down the yelp list and getting voicemails and no apts available until a few days from now we luckily got Angel. Sent him a text with our address and he was at our house in the same day. He spent about an hour and a half to two hours looking at all of our electrical work and was able to not only get out heater to work but also our air conditioning, which we were told was broken!! He even waited and tested everything out with us and paired it with our cell phone and showed us how to use everything. Angel was also very affordable and such a personable person. One of the best people we have ever worked with in the home repair services - and we have worked with a number of them! We have been telling everyone we know how great he is.

Angel was excellent! He responded quickly to provide an estimate, and was helpful in recommending the right equipment and capacity for my mini-split ductless air conditioning unit. He provided a quality Mitsubishi a /c unit and worked with me on the installation schedule. His work was excellent, he was efficient and cleaned up after his work. I'm very pleased with choosing his company for this project.

Our thermostat goes out on a wet and cold day. We bought thermostats and tried to fix it with no success. We needed it fixed before our next AIRBNB guest. Angel to the rescue! We called him around 1pm and he was by at 4pm to fix our termostat. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and knew exactly how to fix our problem. He has over 10 years in the trade. He even got our AC running better than past companies we had out before. He also took the time to explain how our heater worked. Suggested cleaning filters and showed how to clean. 5 stars, highly recommended ​

Our heater broke down when my husband is in the hospital. Right after he was discharged, I called a company that's located closed to where we live, hoping that they can send somebody to check right away. The person who answered my call instructed me to text my name & address and they will send somebody the following day. So that's what I did. However, it's almost noon time the next day and I still haven't received an answer. I called the company several times but nobody picked up the phone. I left the message twice on the voice mail hoping that they will return my call but nobody did. So I tried to call another company. Same thing, it's always a voce mail! Quite frustrated! Until then, I decided to call Velasco's heating & air conditioning. Angel answered the phone right away. He came to check the same day but we decided to replace our heater with a new one since it's already old. We had the BEST EXPERIENCE with Angel! He is very professional, very friendly and efficient! Most of all, he never left any mess after doing his job! He is really an ANGEL, he is heaven sent to install our new heater at the right time when we needed the most! His job is EXCELLENT and very commendable! I highly recommend him to anybody else!
