Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a homeowner in Davie, who was dealing with a troubling clogged toilet issue. This project showcases our commitment to excellence and the efficacy of our specialized services.
The Challenge
When Carlos Costa reached out to us on a Saturday, he was understandably frustrated with his clogged toilet. He described his experience of trying to find assistance, which often led to lengthy hold times or automated responses. However, upon contacting us, he was pleased to speak with a real person right away. Our team member politely informed him that he had reached Zoom Drain Coral Springs but provided him with the correct number for our Davie location.
Upon calling, Carlos quickly explained his problem, and we arranged for a same-day appointment to address his clogged toilet concern.
Our Solution
Our technician, Mario Moreno, arrived just a few hours later, ready to tackle the issue. He expertly conducted a video inspection of the drain lines, extending up to 55 feet throughout the entire house. This cutting-edge technology enabled us to accurately diagnose the problem without disrupting the surrounding areas.
Upon inspection, we discovered that roots had infiltrated the main drain line, causing a significant blockage. Utilizing our specialized root removal techniques, our team effectively cleared the blockage, restoring the proper flow of water and eliminating the immediate threat of further plumbing issues.
The Results
Once the work was completed, Carlos couldn't have been happier. In his review, he exclaimed:
> “Mario is 'THE BEST', thank you Mario!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very satisfied, and I will use them again in the future, and I recommend that you do as well.”

Expert Drain Solutions for Emergencies
Transforming an Emergency Drain Situation
At Zoom Drain of Fort Lauderdale, we pride ourselves on delivering specialized drainage solutions that not only address immediate needs but also provide long-term peace of mind. Recently, we were contacted by a homeowner who experienced an emergency drainage situation that had plagued their property despite previous attempts at resolution from other companies.
The Challenge: Persistent Drainage Issues
When Vernon Hoods reached out to us, he explained the frustration he faced with continuous drainage backups. Other providers had come and gone, claiming to fix the problem, but the issue persisted. After understanding the situation in detail, we immediately scheduled a visit to assess the condition of the drains.
Our Expert Approach
Upon arrival at Vernon’s home, our technician, Mr. Deen, began with a thorough assessment. Utilizing our advanced video inspection equipment, we were able to pinpoint the exact location and nature of the blockage. This level of technology allowed us to view the inside of the pipes and determine how deep the obstruction was.
Our team then proceeded with hydro jetting, a powerful method that uses high-pressure water jets to clear away clogs and any build-up along the pipe walls. The combination of camera inspections with hydro jetting is a vital step in ensuring that we not only clear the blockage but also clean the inner linings of the pipes.
> “Mr. Deen was a true professional. He took his time to ensure I was satisfied and showed me through the camera where and how deep the blockage was. He did more HYDRO jetting to clear away some build-up that was clinging to the pipe lining,” shared Vernon in his glowing review.
After several passes with the hydro jet, we were able to demonstrate that the drainage lines were fully operational. Verifying the success of our efforts with a final camera inspection, we confirmed that there were no collapses in the piping. The water flowed freely from the toilet connection out to the city line, as evidenced by the images captured on the camera.
The Result: Clear Drains and Happy Customers
The results were transformative. Not only did we eliminate the immediate issue, but we also ensured that the drains were clean and functioning optimally for the future. The feedback from Vernon was overwhelmingly positive, and we couldn't be happier knowing that our efforts made a significant difference in his home.

Transforming a Clogged Storm Drain
Transforming a Clogged Storm Drain
At Zoom Drain, we are dedicated to tackling even the most stubborn drain issues, providing our customers with reliable and efficient solutions. Recently, our team had the opportunity to transform the storm drain situation for a customer in Plantation, FL, and we couldn't be prouder of the outcome.
The Challenge: A Long-Standing Problem
When John Steinbauer, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, reached out to us, he shared a long-standing issue with his storm drain that dated back to 2009. Previous service providers had assessed the problem and incorrectly diagnosed it as a French drain that required a costly replacement. With a skeptical but hopeful attitude, John sought our expertise to finally resolve the persistent problem.
Our Investigation and Solution
Upon arrival, our technician Mario quickly identified that the storm drain was not a French drain as previously suggested. Instead, after digging out the clogged intake, he discovered that the drain fed into a 6-inch pipe running 150 feet underground to a lake at the back of John's property.
> "Other service companies had looked at it and said it was a French drain that had to be replaced for $$$. Mario figured it out quickly..." - John Steinbauer
As the job progressed, our supervisor Rick conducted a thorough inspection and found that the pipe was completely blocked by large tree roots encroaching from the end. Demonstrating dedication to providing outstanding service, Rick even got in the water to excavate the area and pinpoint the root blockage.
The Transformation
With our advanced equipment and the right approach, we utilized hydro-jetting to clear the pipes and remove the roots effectively. This method not only ensures that the drain opens up but also preserves the integrity of the surrounding infrastructure.
After the job was completed, we restored proper flow, allowing for efficient drainage which John had been missing for years. He was thrilled with the result and the expertise we brought to the job.
Customer Satisfaction
John was so impressed with the service he received that he took the time to express his gratitude in a glowing review. He praised not only our technicians but also our office manager Lisa, who ensured prompt and consistent communication throughout the process:
> "When you have excellent office staff like Lisa, coupled with outstanding maintenance, you have a great company. I highly recommend Zoom Drain to anyone who has any type of drain problem, they are honest, fair, and reasonably priced." - John Steinbauer
