I asked Dave to come out and give me a second opinion on a prefab fireplace that I had been informed was too old, could not be cleaned, and needed to be entirely replaced. He checked it out and told me it was indeed old, but still perfectly usable. Saved me thousands, and in fact did not charge for the visit either. Highly recommend.

Dave and his crew are excellent technicians, extremely professional, and very thorough. Besides doing a great job cleaning my chimney every year, they have helped me with various issues, and gone out of their way to do so. One of their excellent technicians, Brian, was joking with me when I told him Dave, the owner, had been to my house to work. Not only did the owner of the company come and do the work himself - he did so after 8PM and stayed at my house till 11 getting the wood stove to work correctly. That was way above and beyond the call. These folks are not only excellent at their profession, they are the kind of honest and forthright people whose business I am thrilled to support. Dave is an old-school professional, and stand proudly behind his work and company. A very refreshing experience.

Thank you so, so much to Dave at American Professional Chimney & Masonry. This was, by far, one of the best interactions we've had with a service provider in a very long time. I messaged APCM through Yelp for a quote on service / repair of our gas fireplace. APCM responded almost immediately not only with the information that we requested, but with an invitation to call them to see if they could talk us through repairing the problem over the phone. One detailed, knowledeable, professional phone call later and we're all fixed up. This was a level of personalized customer service - without any up-sell - that I just don't ever expect to get anymore. APCM has a customer for life in us!

I had scheduled an appointment with this company for a Level 2 chimney inspection and failed to receive the promised confirmation mail. When I called to inquire, the lady on the phone assured me that I will hear the day before the set inspection data at what time slot they will come. I did not hear from the the day before and they did not return my phone call. The reception lady called the next morning at 8.30 am to let me know that the service technician called in sick and that we need to reschedule. No apology (tone during our phone conversations in general could have been more friendly) or similar. I decided to use another company and can in all not recommend this company.
