Brian was great to work with and very knowledgeable, and did a thorough inspection. Recommendations for work were detailed and itemized and very reasonable. Highly recommend them for any chimney work.

I had a good experience with American Professional. After purchasing a new property, I first had them out for a cleaning, which quickly turned into an inspection when it turned out the chimney was in really bad shape. The inspector who came out, Howard, drew up a full estimate to return the chimney to wood burning service so I would have it, but I didn't feel pressured into anything. Afterward, I got estimates from two other companies to just fix the exterior of the chimney. I also called American up and had them adjust their estimate accordingly, and they were prompt and helpful in doing so. Their estimate for a crown rebuild and tuck-pointing came in at $500 and $1500 less than the other companies. They were able to get me on their schedule quickly (granted, it was spring). As with the inspection, the guys showed up on time and were polite, courteous, and left a clean work area without damaging anything. They did an outstanding job matching the replacement bricks and mortar. It's a shame this company has been getting such poor reviews on here lately, I almost overlooked them because of it. They did come recommended by a neighbor and get good reviews on Angies List. Based on my experience, I would use them again and probably will when we're ready to convert to a gas insert.

Had the cap blow off my chimney after a recent wind storm. Hasn't looked right to me since it was installed by the company that installed my gas fireplace insert. Check it after every storm. Finally blew off. Original installer said I needed a chimney company and recommended Am Pro. Could not have been happier with the entire experience. Receptionist was able to get someone out earlier than scheduled, since I was concerned about more precip. Two technicians called and arrived even earlier than my expected 2 hr. window. Re-attached the cap in a matter of minutes. Screwed it down this time, exactly what I would have done if I had a longer ladder, and how I think it should have been done in the first place. I will certainly use them again.

The American Professional Chimney and Masonry Service is just what it says service. At the very beginning I found the representatives that answers the phones were very polite and professional. I explained what my situation was with my chimney and she scheduled me a date as soon as possible. The weather here has been very rainy and when the date had to be rescheduled I was informed immediately so that very little interruption was to my daily routine. The Skilled professional was prompt with the time we had agreed upon and immediately surveyed the situation and then sat down with me and explained all options with photos of my current situation. Another date was scheduled for a return to complete the repair and again they were prompt, polite, courteous, kept my property clean and were neat and very professional looking in the company uniform. I was so impressed with their service that I recommended them to one of my exercise members and she thanked me for that. This rating is purely because of their great service. I thank God for them. This is a wonderful business with honest, helpful and professional employees. We were extremely pleased. We had an exterior accent brick wall cave in after all the extreme weather this year and the lead mason came out on a Sunday afternoon to look at it for us and quote us a price. The price was within our budget and the crew started and was done in 2 days. Amazing! I highly recommend this business to anyone needing masonry work.

Starting with the responsiveness and helpfulness of the office staff through the clean up after the work, this could not have gone any better. Every appointment was done on time. The estimate came with a thorough explanation of the work needed and the options for repair. Got a call 30 minutes before arrival for each day of the work. Installation crew was ON IT!. Knew their stuff, explained each step thoroughly. Crew kept the house clean throughout and left it cleaner that when they started. Price was lowest of three bids. EXCELLENT!!
