Owner Dave Meyers sets the tone for a professional, honest, high quality business that amazed me with their quality of work, dedication, and comparatively low prices. Several years ago they put in two stainless steel liners, at half the cost of other companies (who had frankly recommended more bells and whistles which were NOT necessary). Dave came out 3 extra times to install a glass smoke guard...at no additional cost. I recommend this company as a fantastic group of individuals in an industry where other companies operate on fear (your house will burn down). Excellent, awesome, amazing. So happy with them.

I found these guys are Angie's List and they're the real deal. Professional, great work, very responsive turnaround time (I didn't have heat, so that may have influenced the scheduling). Justin explained everything very well, and gave me an entirely reasonable estimate for the unexpected work that needed done - and then he and the owner came out the same day at 8:00 p.m. to reline my furnace vent (pulling gallons of debris out of it at the same time) and install a new cap. Can't recommend the enough. UPDATE: when I had a new furnace installed, the furnace guy came upstairs specifically to ask me who did the chimney work. He said it was a first class job, and he was very impressed.

I hooked up with this company through Angie's List. Two technicians came out and actually arrived a little early. They were very polite and professional. They did a great job cleaning my fireplace and fixed my damper which hasn't worked 100% for years. When they were finished they cleaned up everything to the point that you would never know they were there. When they inspected my chimney on the outside they found some cracking that needs to be repaired. I will have American come out in a couple of weeks for that job.

Needed a Chimney repair company in the area that would seal off our chimney and repair our mortar around the bricks that were beginning to fall off. The repairmen that came for the estimate were quick and efficient and within 3 day I had an estimate and an appointment for the repairs! I don't have much experience with the cost associated with chimney repairs, but their estimate was reasonable and the job they did looks great. Very pleased with this company!

Scheduled this company to come out for chimney work TWICE and both times they simply failed to show up. There was never any phone call or follow up. When I called after the first time, there was no apology, just a reschedule. Should have been my clue not to try them again

The workers were polite, but the work was poorly performed. We ordered our routine chimney sweep in May, but since we recently moved, it's our first time using their services. The major issue we had with them was the chimney was not swept clean, it still smells throughout the summer whenever there is any downdraft. Now I recall that they did not brushed (with extension) the whole chimney, but only blushed and vacuumed the fireplace and lower part of chimney with a short stick brush.
