We first started working with APC in Summer 2022. They were prompt and friendly when doing the initial inspection and did not try to upsell us on a new insert. We got several quotes and they were priced the most fairly so we moved forward. We ended up getting almost a full chimney rebuild in Fall 2022. The guys who did the work were friendly, communicative and offered progress updates at the end of each day. Chimney looked great and had no problems connecting with existing liner and wood stove. In January 2024, we had an unforeseen issue - essentially heavy rains saturated the new brick and water ended up coming into the fire box. The owner of the company (who I believe manages/personally performs all rework/quality repairs) came out to our home three times over several months to do an inspection and provide the appropriate remedies. He was extremely kind and thoughtful and (again) didn't try to upsell us on solutions, just fixed the problems at no additional expense to us. Very happy with our decision to use American Professional Chimney and we thank them for making the situation right.

We are very happy with American Professional Chimney and had an excellent experience we wanted to share with prospective clients! We converted a single-sided gas fireplace into a two-sided (or see through) gas fireplace when we built an addition onto our house. We first checked with four fireplace companies for estimates, and the other three were significantly higher priced, as they bid work that was not ultimately needed. American Professional Chimney was a one-stop shop - from masonry to gas logs and line installation. After hiring American Professional Chimney, the company managed the project and handled permits with Fairfax county. The mason did an excellent job installing the double-sided fireplace with an arching brick look exactly like the other side. The gas line replacement and the gas log install both went smoothly. The company owner Dave personally color matched the mortar and painted it, installed a ceramic glass window and granite hearth, and touched up the newer bricks so that the exterior of the bricks matched the existing bricks. His attention to detail and pleasant demeaner was very much appreciated, as this will be a focal point to our house for years to come. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire project and we would recommend them without any reservations to anyone considering similar work for their home or business.

We recently bought a historic home with chimney issues. We had another company perform an inspection, who then insisted it would require a huge and expensive rebuild of a large portion of the chimney because of a wythe they couldn't get around. Naturally we needed a second opinion. American Professional Chimney (Mike) came out fast and at no cost. They did a thorough inspection, were super knowledgeable, and then helped us come up with options. They ended up relining one flue which the other company said wasn't possible without custom parts and ripping down the chimney. They also raised the chimney to make it compliant with the code. Communication and scheduling with Victor was great too. If you have chimney issues you should call these guys. Very high quality workmanship and very fair price. No upselling. Super easy recommendation.

American Professional Chimney and Masonry is a great company to do business with. They go out of the way to accommodate the customer. I had my chimney replaced by them and I was completely satisfied with the work done. Dianne one of the company's associates was relentless in finding a brick manufacturer that could match the house. The other two quotes I had told me the match didn't exist. I would gladly recommend APC&M to family, friends and neighbors. Their pricing is exceptional. Do yourself a favor and call them before accepting a contract with another company.
