Mr E.
Showed up on time. Spoke to the owner and Adam. They made the process effortless. Workers were on time and did a great job. Cleared the yard of all debris and I have found no nails anywhere.
Roof looks great even better than before now with lifetime shingles. Pleasure doing business. Would recommend.

Bad experience and very unprofessional. Went through my property managers to get a roofing company to fix a leak in my roof above the kitchen. CCR came out to assess the damage, provided me an estimate and said they would contact me to schedule the work. Never received that call after a couple days, so I called to get a status and get something on the books. They apparently cant give a courtesy call to let me know they were coming out to do the work, as I came home for lunch on said date to find the work wasnt completed and let a mess even. They were supposed to add some missing shingles which they did not do, nor did they clean up the mess they made from laying down the storm guard/fixing the leak. Called to complain and got the run around and some story about the guy having 25 years experience(doesnt show from his work), but eventually they came back out again to finish/clean up (to which they again didnt call me to let me know they were there). Still have a gap between the siding and shingles, which apparently is to be expected and they say it will not leak. Asked to get a discount or something for their lack of communication and ability to do the job right the first time, only to get the credit card fee waived (gee, thanks). Unacceptable. Waited a few days to pay the invoice, got harassed about it during that time and after finally paying they send me the receipt only to resend a notice for unpaid invoice 30 minutes later. Will never use these folks again, and even told my property manager to avoid doing business with them in the future as well.

Clear Choice recently replaced the roof on our house caused by a hailstorm. A leak started within the first few months after installation. So, I called them and they came out and put caulking around the skylight without informing me about what the problem was. The leak came back a couple of weeks later so I called them again. The front office worker told me that the person who looked at the work said the problem was with the skylight, that it needed to be replaced and that this work was not covered under the original work that they had done so required a new bid. I told them that I didn't understand why because there was no problem with the skylight before they'd done the work and to please call me back. I called again and never heard back from them and had to get another contractor out to look at and repair the work. He said that that the contractor who had installed the roof did not replace the flashing around the skylight and that damage had also been done to the skylight and therefore needed to be replaced. By the time I was able to get it fixed, the leak had caused damage to the interior. Enough said...
In response to Clear Choice owner Gavin's reply to this post that I declined to pay to fix the skylight, I call BS. Fortunately, most of my communication with Clear Choice over the original replacement of the roof happened over email, which i still have. There was never any mention of a problem with the skylight when Clear Choice first inspected the roof for damage and recommended repairs that were needed. I am happy to post or email the estimate for repairs that Clear Choice submitted to our insurance company if it will help Clear Choice recall the details.
I should also add that, unless the consumer is a roofing expert, they have to rely on the roofing company to perform a thorough inspection of damages and recommend the repairs that are needed, which is then submitted to the insurance company. Clear Choice submitted their recommendations for repair directly to our insurance company. Unfortunately for me, I did not get a second opinion. My bad for relying on the them to perform a thorough inspection of repairs needed.
So, the first mention of a problem with the skylight by Clear Choice occurred after I reported twice that the roof was leaking, over 8 months after the work had been completed. Since a year has passed since the hailstorm, I can no longer make a claim with our insurance company and I am out the cost of the repairs for the skylight and the damage to the interior.
Second, how odd that Gavin said that flashing was not included in our repairs, only shingles because flashing was listed on the estimate submitted to and approved by the insurance company as well as on the final invoice. Since this is not rocket science, I must be stupid because I don't understand why something that is listed on the estimate and the final invoice is or should not not also be included in the installation.
Third, I find it interesting that Gavin said that they planned to install a new skylight free of charge when they have never returned my phone calls until just today, after I posted this review.
Lastly, I have only a handful reviews on Yelp and every single one of them but this one has been a rave review. I believe in writing good reviews to support good businesses who are committed to quality service and skill in their trade. I equally believe it is important to post critical reviews to inform other consumers, to give consumers a forum to be heard, and to hold businesses accountable as there are so few avenues for consumers these days to address their grievances. My reviews stand on their merits.

My neighbor referred Clear Choice Roofing to me and I'm glad he did!
I received prompt friendly courteous service from the nice woman who answered the phone to the owner of the company. They were on time for our appointment, listened to my needs, and immediately completed the work in a timely manner. Then they cleaned up everything before reviewing the work with me. It was a great experience and I would definitely hire them again without hesitation. Thanks, guys. You are terrific!

They have great review on Angie's List because if you give a good review, they give you 20% off! They did awful service. It took us forever to fix our roof. They did not even go to the roof to give us an estimate (they admitted this after we complained). Basically they have us an estimate of $2000, then when they saw the roof, they realized they did not need to do the all things they thought they needed to do...just needed to replace a cap which costs about $200. They had to order the cap, so it took several more days. Then they came and replace the cap in 30 min?! They still wanted to charge $2000. My husband complained on Angie's List as we could not reach them, and as soon as they saw his complain on line, they contacted us and told us that they will give $300 discount. They also asked him to update his review in order to get the discount.

I needed a quote on a property under contract and they responded quickly and efficiently even over the Memorial Day holiday. I got a reasonable quote in a few days along with a follow up phone call for questions, all within the option period.
Decided not to move forward with the property, so didn't need to do the roof repair but had a great experience for getting a quote!
