I needed my roof replaced so I contacted a number of companies, including Clear Choice, to receive quotes. I decided to go with Clear Choice and I'm very glad I did. My point of contact was Mike Ludlow. Mike contacted me promptly and scheduled a time to come look at the roof. He explained in detail the work that would be done, including a small request of mine. The work was scheduled, and the work was done on the scheduled date. Mike kept in communication the entire time, making sure everything was going well.

I was very happy with the crew, they finished the job in a day and left the area around the house cleaner than when they had arrived.
So the entire process went very well and was all you could hope for. But there's more to the story and is an example of going far above and beyond. We ran into a problem and this is where Clear Choice, and especially Mike, were outstanding.

As it turned out we had problem with some shingles that were slightly off color, but definitely noticed it. We believed it to be a manufacturer's defect so Mike contacted an Owens-Corning rep right away to come and have a look. It was agreed that there was an issue so we filed a claim with Owens-Corning.

The Owens-Corning claim process isn't exactly smooth, and a bit demanding. As an example they required shingles of the two different shades to be removed and shipped to them. Mike took care of this and had the shingles removed and shipped to Owens-Corning. They also required various pieces of documentation, some from me, some from Mike, and he was always quick to take care of it.
The entire claim process took about 2 months and thankfully Mike was there the entire time. We communicated on at least a weekly basis on the status of the claim and what we could do to move it along, and it did take some prodding. Finally the claim was approved and a check issued for the work.

If there was a higher grade I could give for Responsiveness and Professionalism then I surely would. And if I ever need another roof replaced I've got Mike on speed dial. Wouldn't call anyone else.

It was very easy to get in contact with Clear Choice Roofing and they were very flexible in scheduling an appointment - they were even willing to meet with me on a Saturday!! This was greatly appreciated.
I had removed a DirecTV antenna and Clear Choice replaced an area of the shingles (I had some spares left over) which had holes from the antenna and filled the holes. There were a couple of places where the flashing around vents were coming up and they re-secured those. They replaced one of my vents which had been damaged by critters chewing on it. There were a couple of shingles that had been previously damaged by branches and they replaced those also. They did a complete inspection of the roof and would've advised me of any additional concerns which could be fixed before becoming major problems (since the roof had been replaced a few years ago, there weren't any additional issues to be addressed).
Very professional, courteous, honest and I'll be using them again when I need any roofing work done.

I begin finding shingles in the yard and looked up to see where they came from. I also noticed large areas where shingles were loose and had moved. I called Clear Choice Roofing to come and give an estimate for repair. Clear Choice came by to look at the roof and while he was inspecting it, more damage was found. His recommendation was to have an adjuster from my insurance company come out and look at the roof. There was enough damage on the roof that the insurance company might just pay for the replacement. Sure enough the adjuster came out and met with the Clear Choice representative, and the insurance company decided to pay for the roof replacement. The roof did not have ridge vents and gutter guards but the Clear Choice representative was very helpful in giving me the costs and requirements to install these components while the shingle replacement was going on. The work was done in a little over 2 days and the roof looks excellent. After the work was complete, Clear Choice power washed the drive way to remove tire tracks from their equipment and replaced a piece of gutter that was damaged during the work. The yards was clean from debris and nails and I have not found any nails yet. This group was extremely professional and very courteous. I was traveling during the whole replacement but Clear Choice took pictures of the work and the materials for my records so I could see what work was done. I would definitely give Clear Choice extremely high ratings for their work and their friendly attitude.

Gavin, the owner, came out the day after I called and looked at my roof. I thought I would need a new roof considering the age of the roof and that no repairs had ever been completed. Gavin explained that he could fix the roof and some of the plumbing vents that were in bad shape and it should give my roof another 5 good years of service. He saved me over $8,000!!! I was told he was quite busy, but would try and fit me in as soon as possible. The next day he had a roofer out to do the repairs. The workman spent about five hours on the roof and completed all of the work to include a few vent pipes and some trim work had been needed for some time.
