I had a leak repaired last year and recently noticed another one so I figured this would be a good way to get everything checked out and see if I was facing a real problem.The inspection I bought included a visual review, gutter and downspout inspection, inspecting flashing around plumbing vents, air vents and chimneys, fixing loose shingles and caulking voids in flashing. It also included a comprehensive estimate if any repairs or improvements were suggested.

It went great! General manager Wade James called me the same day I bought the inspection and he set up an appointment for that weekend. Ruben arrived on time, checked out the room with the leak and then thoroughly inspected the attic. He showed me some photos of a couple of potential problem spots, including a nail leak that was in the approximate location of the trouble area. After explaining everything about the attic inspection - including that we need more insulation - he got up on the roof and checked it out. He caulked and sealed various exposed nails and around box vents, plumbing vent and mechanical vent. He went over all of this with me and my husband and noted that we had some heat damage to decking and shingles that would benefit from installation of ridge type venting. He provided an explanation and an estimate that was reasonable which we will follow up on as soon as we can. He was professional and knowledgeable and both he and Wade are conscientious, courteous and - after having had some bad experiences with home repairs - a joy to work with. I recommend Clear Choice Roofing with no hesitation.

Clear Choice Installed new chimney underlayment and flashing. Repaired eves and soffets. Provided and installed 2 each roof vent turbines. Cut limbs away from roof edge. Calked exposed roof nails. Installed water diverter.


Wade responded to my inquiry right away and provided a bid the next day. He and his crew were on site the next day to begin work. Wade explained to me exactly what he was going to do before he did it and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. There was no room for confusion after he briefed me on the job. The work that he and his crew did solved a roof drainage issue for me that I had been having for some time. I had hired another contractor to fix the problem but that contractor only made it worse. Some good hard recent rains have tested out his workmanship and I haven't had one drop of leaking since. His work was outstanding and his price was very reasonable. He took progressive photos of the job from start to finish so I could see exactly what he did without having to be their on the job site. The photos were provided to me on a CD after the completion of the job. Post job cleanup was complete and thourough. He even offered to take away some debris that I had collected that had nothing to do with the work he was doing. And he ensured that all the nails were picked up on the ground beneath the work areas. In short I received exellent workmanship from a skilled craftsman at a reasonable price. I felt that I was getting more for my money throughout the entire process. Most importantly I felt I was being dealt with honestly and fairly. I highly recommend this company if you require roofing work.

I recently noticed a water leak coming from my patio roof. I called clear choice on a Thursday to come over and provide an estimate. They come over promptly Saturday morning as scheduled. After Mike climbed on my roof and sprayed it for a while with hose so we could find the leak, he found that the new gutters I had installed, had a hole in them. So the leak on my patio wasn't from roof but from the gutters.
Mike could have told me yep there's a leak and charged me for a fix that didn't need done, but he was honest and told me how to put a little caulk in the hole, and fix the issue. He also didn't charge me a penny to come over and spend 1/2 hour with me trying to find it. I will ABSOLUTELY use these guys, and only these guys in the future for ANY roofing need. There's not a lot of honest contractors out there, but these guys are. Mike made my morning!!!

Excellent, fast service. Courteous and professional. And they do great work! What more could you ask for? These guys installed a new roof for me back in 2010. They were fast and the price was good. Cleaned everything up really well, too.

Yesterday, Austin got deluged and my roof started leaking so I called them up, talked with a very nice lady on the phone who then followed up to schedule her crew to come out and take a look. Turns out it was my fault for not getting the stupid leaves off the roof valley which caused the water to overflow the metal valley. Duh. Anyway, they cleaned off the leaves and made sure there were no holes or missing shingles (there were none) and were on their way. Gavin Weathersby is particularly awesome.

I can recommend this company to anyone looking for honest, professional, and reliable roofers. They rock :)

I had about 20 shingles in multiple areas of my roof blow off during some high winds. Many houses in the area were affected. My wife did not want me climbing up on our two story roof so we decided to call some roofers to get an estimate Gavin said he could come out the next day to take a look. He showed up as promised.
After the inspection, he talked to my wife and explained what was needed and gave us an estimate to replace the missing shingles and do some basic sealing. He gave us a discount if we would put a sign in our yard, which we were happy to do. Note that we had some earlier feedback from another vendor who said we might need to contact our insurance to see about replacing the whole roof. Gavin explained that the roof, which is only 8 years old, was not that bad. His honesty and input was very much appreciated.
Clear Choice was not able to come out on the initially scheduled time, but they
contacted me to let me know about the schedule change and the reason for
the delay (only one day).
On the newly scheduled day, he showed up as promised and got the work done.

I'm an English major, but I find it difficult to express in words the number of excellent things I want to say about this company. Everything, from the call I made to inquire about an estimate through the completion of the roof installation, was flawless. I hate to say that the service I received and the ethics demonstrated by this company were unexpected and unbelievable because all companies should operate this way; unfortunately, they do not.

I called and left a message that I was interested in an estimate for my roof. Within two hours, Wade called me back to set up an appointment. He arrived promptly, did a close inspection, and told me that he would be happy to return to when I set up an appointment with my insurance adjuster. Without going into a lot of detail, I can say that I believe Wade's professional opinion about my damage had a lot to do with my insurance covering my claim. The materials were delivered promptly, the workmen were pleasant and professional, and the work was completed in less than two days. They moved porch furniture and cleaned up thoroughly. There was absolutely not one negative thing about the experience. Wade James understands and demonstrates through his attention to detail, professionalism, knowledge about his field, and concern for his customers the kind of job performance and customer service that makes businesses successful. I highly recommend this company to everyone with no reservations!
