I am so grateful to Gavin from Clear Choice Roofing. I saw a post where he offered to do free roof checks, and decided to have him come out. We just built a new house and I was a bit concerned about some areas of our roof. I had previously asked the original subcontractor come out to look at those areas, and they assured me all was fine.

When Gavin came down off of our roof he was visibly upset, and told us that our roof was done so poorly that almost the entire thing needed to be replaced. It was so bad that we wouldn't even be able to pass a home inspection. I immediately sent Gavin's detailed report (complete with pictures) to a home inspector who agreed 100% with Gavin's findings. He also told me that there is no way we would pass a home inspection. Long story short, thankfully we were still in our warranty period with our builder and now they are replacing our roof.

Gavin saved our family thousands and thousands of dollars. He even came out and met the subcontractor at our place to make sure they were honest when they dealt with us after we reported the issues to the builder. He did all of this for free, out of the kindness of his heart.

If we ever have roof issues in the future, this is the only company I will call. They have a reputation for honesty and integrity, and it's well deserved. I would recommend them to anyone!

After a fierce hail storm caused severe damage to our metal roof, and after checking reviews on the web, we called Clear Choice Roofing to inspect our roof and assess the damage. Mike Ludlow came out immediately and worked diligently with our insurance company to determine all that was needed to replace our roof. He and his roofing forewoman, Carrie, helped us select the material and color for our new metal roof. Then we decided to postpone the project until after the hot summer months. When Carrie and her team went to work in November, as we had agreed, they were amazing, highly skilled, courteous, and professional. They did an absolutely fantastic job and clean-up was thorough. The gutter and sheetrock contractors that Mike engaged did excellent work as well. Minor adjustments around a skylight were taken care of promptly and precisely. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a more cooperative and professional crew, whose workmanship was outstanding. We would highly recommend Clear Choice Roofing for any roof repair or new installation!

I had made a few phones called to clear choice roofing office to take a look of my rental roof condition at first I didnt get return called from the worker that work on the sites because I need to ask them a few things that the lady in the office couldn't provide which is understandable.
Finally, I received a called back from Gavin.
I asked him to check if my roof need vent flashing because there was 2 bids from other license roof companies in writing that said I need vent flashing.
He promised me that he would give me the answer back the next day.
Sure thing! The next day he got back to me through a phone called and send me a couple pictures and explanation in writing why I would not need any vent flashing for my roof without no cost because nothing need to be repair. Fellow yelper! His honesty is really count here. I am in California but I do have several rentals in Austin so you can imagine that I really need yelper reviews to screen any company to do the work.
Great job Gavin! Thank you for your honesty and sharing your knowledge of why I dont need vent flashing for my roof. You choose to tell the truth for your reputation than making false report to earn some money bravo!

Extremely disappointed with this company and I will tell you why. I advertised a roofing job on thumbtack. Clear choice responded to my ad in a timely manner which was good. I then replied to them of what I was needing done, I gave them the address, and I asked them to come out look at the property and message me a bid.
I thoroughly explain to them in my message that I work nights and sleep during the day so I would be unable to meet with the representative. That's why asked them to look at the damage and send me a bid.After three days I received no reply from this company. So I sent them another message asking them why they did not reply to my last message.
When they did reply to this, the first thing they said was they do not like to come out and give bids on jobs without the homeowner being present. They accuse me of possibly being a realtor who seem to do this a lot. My exception to this is that I explain to them that I work nights and sleep during the day that's why I could not meet with the representative.
Then they go on to tell me that they sent most of the staff to Dallas to help with the storm victims and would not be able to assist me for months. That's all fine and good except no one bothered to message me or pick up a phone and call me because I did give them my phone number and explain this back to me. They just let me languish for three days trying to guess why they did not respond to my job request.
They further stated they first responded to my job offer on a Friday stating they would be glad to come out and do the job now they said they did not know there was sending their crew to Dallas until the next day. You would think they would message me or call me and advise me of the problem with manpower now.
Just blowing me off and not even bothering to let me know that their crew was going to Dallas shows me this is an unprofessional company that really don't care that much about their Intown clients

Well Clear Choices reply clearly shows how unprofessional this person is. Accusing me of not caring about storm victims!!! My message clearly stated I had no problem with his crew going to help others. My whole point is no one bothers to spend 3 minutes to send me a message or pick up a phone and call saying we can't help you at this time and this is why
That's it... Instead of me waiting 3 days not hearing a thing. They obviously want to make me out to be he bad guy here when all I did was offer them a job. He can't even admit they were wrong for not notifying me. My review was truthful and not vindictive. You worry about your livelihood, learn how to be more respectful to customers instead of ignoring them.

I first considered Clear Choice because of their excellent reviews. I selected Clear Choice because of the value of their quote as compared to some competitors as well as their customer service in answering my numerous upfront questions. I am so glad I did! Everything completed on schedule. The delivery and installation crews were phenomenal! Replacing a roof is a messy job and the installation crews did a great job of containing the mess and cleaning up each day. The best part? It looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! If you are in the market for a roof repair or replacement...look no further!
