Straight Shooter Heating and Cooling is an excellent company from top to bottom. I’ve had interactions with people of all levels of this company and I have been sincerely impressed by all. They do what they say they are going to do, My technician, Mike showed up early and on time. I was sent a text telling me he was on the way. Mike arrived and explained in layman’s terms what he was going to do. He did it by diagnosing and then repairing the problem. Answered all of our questions. The great part is all this was done for a very reasonable price. Give them a call. You will not be disappointed. Five out of five stars.

Straight Shooter was honest, punctual, and professional. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC, explained my options, and got to work immediately. When I had additional issues they sent a technician out within a couple hours to troubleshoot. It’s difficult to find a company that stands by their work and ensures the job is fulfilled to your satisfaction.

Huge thanks to Aaron and the entire team at Straight Shooters Heating and Cooling!

This past week, our company faced a major challenge while on the road. We had one of our event trucks travel from Austin, Texas to California for a series of events, and the AC unit in our mobile showroom—critical to our presentations—unexpectedly went out. We were in a tough spot, unsure if we’d be able to find anyone capable of working on a specialized setup like this.

Aaron responded quickly and was on-site the very next day. He helped us coordinate and install a new heat pump and mini-split system directly onto the truck. This was no easy job, and the level of professionalism, expertise, and honesty he and the Straight Shooters team brought to the table was outstanding.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication, we were able to stay on schedule and complete all our events here in California. I can’t recommend Straight Shooters Heating and Cooling highly enough—they truly saved us.

Aaron came out to inspect and assess my old 25 yr+ HVAC system. He worked hard to clean out my backyard condenser unit which was full of dirt. That effort noticeably improved the performance of the indoor vents. However, Aaron determined the AC was still not working at the most ideal levels. Upon his attic inspection, he discovered my attic light bulb was burned out and put in a new LED bulb. He noticed a step in the attic entrance way was bending when stepped on and made note of it. He also saw that there was a vent cover which had come off, and so I might have been cooling/heating my attic. He determined my gas furnace was definitely in need of replacement. He also noticed there was a drain pipe that he suspected might have leak issues. Due to the age of my system I decided to schedule an appointment with Aaron, to replace my old HVAC system. I chose to upgrade to a heat pump system, and add a new smart thermostat.

The team that came out to do the HVAC replacement (Kenneth, Oscar and Keegan) were great! They were coordinated, professional, and worked hard all day to get the new HVAC equipment installed in the attic and backyard. They had to enlarge my attic entrance by a few inches to get the new equipment in. After the attic work was done they nicely repaired the dry wall around the entrance. In addition, the bending attic step board was addressed, and Kenneth let me know the possible leaky drain issue had been fixed! So glad to have the peace of mind that a nice new system with a good warranty brings.

Aaron came over and I told him about the issues we were having on our old ac unit. He was super professional and was able to pin point the problem very quickly and fix it. Thanks for your help and letting me know how to solve the issue when the problem ever happens again. Highly recommend this company.

Kenneth and Oscar were excellent installers. Conversed with me multiple times to determine locations, routes, wiring and plumbing runways. Excellent job. Loving it!
